Mystery O-Ring in Carb Rebuild Kit

Post by ChefBoyardye »

Hey all, just got my All Balls rebuild kit today and I can't figure out where to put these two replacement O-rings! I know it's not for the fuel fill valve because that already has an o-ring on it. Any ideas? Image (needle and fuel valve for scale): Image

Maybe they are spares for the float valve seat?

There's usually only 2 o-rings in a CV carb - the float valve seat and the idle mixture screw (that o-ring is much smaller).

It has been years since I had to tear a carb completely down but, aren't there orings on the starter plunger and the coast valve assemblies?
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.
