Suspension
I'm getting ready to put these stiffer shocks in the rear of my bike. I just re did my Forks in the springtime and I used 10wt , do you think I should take out that 10 weight oil and replace it with 15 for a stiffer all around suspension?

Re: Suspension
Stiffer might not be the word I'd use. The oil just dampens the spring rate. I've heard different weights of oil make it feel different, but I didn't think so. The only thing that made mine feel different was the drop in Progressive springs. It reduced the front end dive and made the bike handle better in the corners. Which improves the overall ride of the bike. Even more so than the Progressive rear shocks I had.
Current rides: 03 HD FLHT & 01 Yamaha XVS650(BIP)
Former: 87 Suzuki VS700, 94 BMW K1100LT & 91 Honda CB250
I don't want to own them all, just ride them all.

Thanks, I'll just leave it alone.

Re: Suspension
My fork has 15 weight and it's well controlled where it had been bouncy...of the course the old was worn to the point it was like dirty water. So even fresh sewing machine oil would have felt nicer. And I have newer rear shocks...so all in all I imagine the bike handles as Suzuki intended when it was new.
