Air shocks, anyone used them?

Post by Daveaitken777 »

Thinking of running air shocks so I can have it lower on my own and raise when I have a pillion. Would love to have a compressor installed as well. Any advice would be great cheers

Shocks that have that range are typically pricey. Some Harley guys have fit cheap compressors and Monroe air shocks meant for Corvettes, but it doesn't have the desired effect you're looking for. The range isn't there. Not without becoming squishy and affecting your handling. I think what you're wanting is air bags, and that's just too difficult and costly on a bike.

I don't want to own them all, just ride them all.

Of course if money is no object you can do what those big wheel baggers do....air goes out, and bike sits down on frame...no kickstand!
