Are the calipers on the 1400 swappable can the front go on the rear and vise versa

The pads are the same from front to back, at least on the '95 1400.

Yep, pads same, calipers waaaaay different....but you can get another chrome cover for the front caliper and it will fit where the plastic one is on the rear, to dress it up a little.
