mirror suggestions
I have an 05 1400 with some cheap amazon mirrors that have really long stems. While they seem to work really well for seeing around my shoulders I want to replace them that doesn't look as goofy. I really like the look of mirrors that hang under the handlebars, but I don't think this would work on the 1400 because of how close the tank sits to the mirror brackets. Does anybody have mirrors ideas/pics they can post up? Thanks!

Ok sweet I will look for those. They will probably look much better than the ones I have on there now

Re: mirror suggestions
The OEM mirrors do provide excellent wrap around viewing for lane changes and just all around safety. I would like to see how round mirrors look on an intruder, though. Some pics would be nice.

Round might work with a different handlbar...the rectangular ones work fine for buckhorns.

The mirrors off the 1500 are interchangeable and are a little lower and look a bit nicer imo

I have a metallic rattle in my dash, kinda like a washer is bouncing around in there (which it probably is, I lost one) that was driving me nuts. I finally fixed it by putting my full face helmet back on.wj_hurd wrote:My left mirror rattles! Drives me nucking futs!

That's a nice windscreen you have on your 1400 intruder, scootermcq. It looks like it's made by Memphis. What size is it, and does it have quick release?

Its not the dash... If I rest my arm on the mirror... Nice and quiet... If I gently touch the glass when its rattling I can feel the vibration. Its defiantly a Japanese bike.. At least it's not falling off....I can name a few other brands that would do that!
