Saddlebag Question

Post by Redwood »

Just to confirm. The general consensus when mounting throw over bags under the rear seat of the 1400 is to toss em over the electronics? That ever caused any grief for anyone?

I'd say, probably not as long as the wires aren't getting any stress put on them. Then again maybe some people move that stuff out of there.

When I had my bags, I just put them over the electronics... No problems for me.

Last set I had that is what I did. It was a bit of a kludge stuffing the seat back down, but it did no harm once the holding bolt was screwed back in. I'm between bag sets now, but next set I reckon will get similar treatment.

Did anyone hijack this thread at this link yet? If not, it needs to be brought over here.
