Discussing these points of this issue with you seems worthy.FallenAngel wrote: ↑Sun Sep 05, 2021 9:59 amHerb Discussing anything with you and Designer is like herding cats.
Crank case ventilation is impotent regardless of HOW it is vented
The topic "Crank Case Vent with Pods" is the discussion
Designer posted a solution of how he vented the crank case with pods by cutting a small hole and attached the tube. Done problem solved.
Hillsy suggested just venting to atmosphere another good suggestion that works. Done problem solved
The suggestion came up to vent after the carbs as the preferred method. Good suggestion
You even said which one of them would be preferred;Designer posted a solution of how he vented the crank case with pods by cutting a small hole and attached the tube. Done problem solved.

And, for obvious reasons,...Vacuum Driven Positive Crankcase Ventilations IS a better "how" to do it.FallenAngel wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 10:37 amI myself would not recommend just a long hose to atmosphere but instead connecting it to a vacuum source.

At times yes,...at times no.
