The battery box mod

Finally did this. Upgraded to 325CCA battery and no more struggling unddr the bike. It slides out of the box!!
Then I have stainless covers that I made to go on which will now need a 1/8" washer. The battery is a 1/2 inch bigger than the old one and a 1/4" bigger than the box so it sticks out 1/8". The stainless covers were origionally made to cover the exhaust hole and to also mount the jockey shifter.

Not sure what yur doin but it sounds cool cus I don't really like our stock box either. Please post the results

Cool mod, but I can't use it. I still have the stock exhaust...

I did enlarge the box but kept the bottom opening to get the battery in and out and went to a larger battery.
