Re: Decom control unit ?
The 1500 decomp is different but I'm pretty sure all the 1400s were the same throughout the years.

If it is the same part number it will work.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

In our DropBox there is a folder called Other Information that has the Decomp diagram. You can also pull a shop manual from the DropBox.

It looks like Partzilla has the part but I am not sure if it changed with different years.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Re: Decom control unit ?
Suzuki will often re-issue / remake a part and change the part number. The part is the same - it just "supersedes" the original.
Obviously if it has the original part number it is correct -but don't think a different part number is a dead end.
