1990 intruder 1400 ... Need to make it different
Good clean bike picked it up for a steal cus of a stator gasket leak .. What are if any cheap easy to do mods or changes I can do to make it different. Thinking of bobbin .. But idk

Some folks have done decent job bobbing it. To my mind they are such a good looking bike overall, that often, only a new paint job and some nice handlebars and seat can really lift it up. In some sense ergonomics are one thing you might tackle for these are very tight bikes to ride for hours. We all have our ways of dealing with it.

I'm 5'10" and the 1400 seems to fit me pretty well. I don't really feel a need for forward controls, but that could be nice. My Vic has it's controls forward and it's actually somewhat of a reach for my feet to reach them, but I do okay on it however I do have to make a conscience awareness of where they are.
