I picked up a set of shocks in the flea market. The mounting bolt on the old shocks is 1/2 and on the intruder it's M10. So I found these spacers that I think should work, my concern is that they are nylon and not metal. Let me know what you think.

Why would material matter? Nylon is more friction resistant, but wears faster. Perhaps if you're a heavy weight, that would be an issue, otherwise, I don't see any.

That is what I hoped to hear. The nylon spacer is slightly shorter than the metal one that is in there, but I don't think it should be a problem either.

I have used nylon spacers in the past .......No problems at all.

The more I talk to my mechanic friend, the less I am concerned...but I still have my eyes open for metal ones...
