yea and we need to know what carb is that guy using, im still thinking either our stock carb with proper jets setup can be used as single carb conversion

Seeing that single carb has got me all fired up. I got the bits of the old manifold from out of the scrap today and im gonna try again.

The Elephant in the room is that no matter what I did nothing changed making me believe that it was not the inlet manifold and at that time I had some silly 2 inch headers,--I now know that those don't work no matter what you do. I now have 1.1/4 and it runs lovely but thats not the point. If that snotty kid who just grunted at me no matter what language I fired at him can cobble something them I think I will too.

The guts in the scrap is not too bad. They are cut up and I cant remember why but I reckon I can have something running in a day. I shall use the rear carb as is.

I will take some pics but I can not get them on the forum --yes I admit I may be a bit thick with computers but thats where we are. If anyone is interested and could accept them by email and post them for me we got a deal.

Did you smooth out the welds on the inside of your home made manifolds?

previously, my project was installing the idf 44 weber carbs, one ventury per cylinder, now u makes me want to fed both front and rear cylinder by both ventury without seperating them. the last time i had the weber, it does fire up, but the a/f ratio needs to be changed from time to time. but when it runs, i wish i can tie my hand to the handlebar
