Turn Signal Options
Hello Everyone,
So two of my turn signals are broken courtesy of the previous owner. Brand new Suzuki replacements are rather expensive so just wondering if anyone has used anything else and if you could post photos of what they look like? Thanks.

Re: Turn Signal Options
Is it just the lens, or the entire turn signal?

Sadly one is completely broken and the rest are missing the lenses.

Re: Turn Signal Options
I would check out Ebay for a used set. Shouldn't be too much!

Re: Turn Signal Options
There used to be a company that made a replacement that was half the price of suzuki. Looked and functioned identically. I used them 5 different times but it has been years since I broke one.
Amazon or eBay are probably your best bet.

I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Re: Turn Signal Options
Just to double check, and not sure if it is different in Canada, but are the rear tail lights a two wire set up or three? From what I have seen it is two, my bike is currently still at the shop out of town so I can't double check.

Re: Turn Signal Options
Rear T/S lights are a 2 wire, single filament bulb set up. The lenses are amber and, in the US, can only be used as a T/S.

Re: Turn Signal Options
Yup, rear turns are 2 wire, front turns are 3 wire.
Dennis Kirk sells 3 wire signals for the front that look identical to stock, the brand is K&S.
Part numbers:
LF is 25-3232
RF is 25-3231
edit to add that you can use these on the rear as well, BUT you will need to use only the turn filament, and run a 1157 bulb instead of the 1156 usually found in the rear. You will need to lengthen the wires...STAGGER your splices so that they pass through all the holes. Also switch locations...RF goes to LR, LF goes to RR.

Re: Turn Signal Options
The one set I found is for both rears for $80 so its actually cheaper and the wiring is all there. I did speak with Bronx Intruder but unfortunately he didn't have any for the s83.

I got my "silver bullets " at JCWhitney.
Pretty much any 12 volt will do.
Look on eBay.
If nessary drill new holes.
