I guess folks weren't kidding when they said you better like the VS800 the way it is because there aren't many accessories. I've been googling crash guards, but there's next to nothing I've found out there . Let me rephrase that. I've found one crash bar that claims to be for the VS800/S50 and it's pretty fugly (IMO). Could this really be it?

This looks a lot like the one I had on my S50: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Suzuki-In ... SwenZfk3nh

Re: crash bar/engine guard?
To the best of my knowledge, only two engine guards were available for the VS800.
The one Wintrsol posted was from Suzuki, its part number was 990A0-73017.
Do a search for pictures.
It is the narrowest of the two.
Found it here for $50.00, Good deal.
https://www.twowheelmotorsport.com/clea ... otorcycle/
The other is from MC Enterprises, and is much wider.
Both are 1" diameter and will accept footpegs, but you need adjustable adapters so the pegs will be parallel with the ground, rather than perpendicular to the bar....facing downhill.

Re: crash bar/engine guard?
Thanks, folks. I knew if there were more options, you all would know about them. I may have to check out that $50 clearance thing. It says for VS700, but you're saying it's compatible? I don't care about adding pegs. I did see that beat up set on eBay that you poster, WintrSol, but damn it's in rough shape. And yes, I did see reference to that MC Enterprises one, but most all the result link to places where it was discontinued or otherwise unavailable. Looks like eBay may be the only option for that one, but $50 sure beats $200, unless the clearance one charges another $150 for shipping.
Thanks, guys!

Oh, yeah, I did find a couple of scam sites like this one. I was congratulating myself on my searching skills until I decided to google the name of the site adding 'scam' to the search. Sure enough, my instincts were right.

That $50 unit has the correct part number, which fits the 700, 750, 800, S50.

Re: crash bar/engine guard?
So, four days later, this is the reply I get.
Unfortunately these engine guards had been sold and never taken off our
website.
I appologize for that.

Re: crash bar/engine guard?
They are no longer produced.
Perhaps find one used from a boneyard like Pinwall Cycles.
