Front brakes squeak
Im getting ready to replace the front brakes. Ive read these are notorious for squeaky brakes. Are there any front brake pads that are recommended that don’t squeal? Would the rotor also need to be replaced?

Re: Front brakes squeak
If the rotor is worn past the minimum thickness, it should be replaced.
I suggest EBC Brake Rotor Front Right, #MD3032RS.
For brake pads I use: EBC HH Front Brake Pads for Suzuki 92-04 VS800 Intruder 05-10 VS800 S50, #FA103HH.
For squeak free brakes use SBS brake pad shims, #9500-PU.

All else being good I also use the red RTV on the back of the pad to take up the vibes that cause the squeal.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Bevel the leading edges of the pads and seat them properly

Also make sure you have the pad springs installed and they are snug...
