Will a right fork off a 2005 S50 Fit a 92 VS800?
Want to throw a new front fender on my 92VS 800 but the fender bolts sheared off and I cant get them out even with easy outs. I ended up breaking off the ends of the easy outs in the bolts. A new fork isnt that expensive, seems like it shouldn't be to hard to replace either. Will a fork off a 2005 S50 fit a VS800? Anything special I should know before swapping forks? Only want to swap the right fork.

AS long as they are 41mm I think they should fit but I would replace both if I were you. A slight difference in spring action or placement of the axle could cause issues. Did you try heating the broken bolts up a little?
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

The '05 has a 19" wheel, the '92 probably has a 21", but I believe the fender mount location is the same.
The '05 will bolt up.
Both have a 39mm fork diameter.
As sgtcall says, you may want to reuse the spring/spacer from the '92 in case the replacement has different springs, also make sure the fork oil is equal in both forks.
Use never seize on the fender bolts.
