speedometer/odometer/instrument panel loose

my speedometer/odometer/instrument panel is loose. i have a 2000 vs 800 intruder with 79k. there are two bolts holding it all together. one is missing. i am hesitant to take the remaining bolt out. any idea what size bolt this might be? looks like a 10mm head. i have a schematic image saved as a jpg but i can not get the insert image to work. we dropped the headdlight out and lost the bolt from the speedometer/odometter/instrument panel. we found the 10 mm 7/10 inch shaft bolt. just bought a new bolt and will install tomorrow. thanks. joey broome
