Can someone tell me where the relay or the fuse is for the 1994 vs800 fan? It’s not working and my bike gets very hot I don’t know what it could be I’m going to try to drain coolant and flush with distilled water then look into the thermostat to see if it’s stuck. I was just going to refill it with new fluid then see if it opens up by watching it thru the radiator it bubble up and slosh around but then I was like well if it doesn’t then I’m going to haft to re drain the coolant to get to it so better do the smart thing first

Item 40 is the fan switch


To properly test the thermostat you will need to remove it submerge it water heat the water up until the thermostat opens
using one of these

Schematic only goes up to 39 - there is no 40??

I had to look because I directed the RP to 40 and I wanted to see if it at least looked like a switch of some kind Or something completely different

The wireing diargam I have is fro a 95 but it shows that the whole system runs through a circuit breaker and then go out to fuses. The fan is on the circuit breaker only, no separate fuse.
