cats and racoons love climbing onto a warm engine ....
That's what radiator fan blades are for. :rag:
You'd wish this upon someone's CAT? :space:
No one would wish it on them but shit happens.

Do you open the hood everytime you go to start a car???
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

A friend of mine went on a 2 week vacation and when he came home his toyota pickup wouldn't start. While t-shooting he opened the air box. Pack rats had made a nest in it the completly plugged the filter.

I have seen cars with the wiring all chewed up by critters.

In Germany there is an animal called a marten that gets into engines and eats the wires. We had one in Baumholder that got 3 cars in one night all in the same parking area. It caused a couple thousand dollars worth of damage to each car.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Wellll,...No,...But I do tap my horn first and make more noise than usual before starting. :space:

And,...what Navigator posted was not about a,..."shit happens"... type a thing. :space: The removal of underhood Cats/Raccoons does not need the use of the Blades.....( as he said the blades were for) .

Bullshit. Nobody honks thier horn everytime they go to start the car...

If they are under the hood of a car they are pests, F'm.

Can't help but agree.

I even backed over our old cat about 20 years ago and still wasn't anything I could have done about it.

You want to sleep in a warm engine bay? Tough luck...

Well, Herb,....It's true that not everyone taps their horn before starting their car,....but I DO when the weather is cold and the animals seek the warmth of the engine compartment.

It's easy to do,....costs you nothing,..... takes only 1, maybe 2 seconds to perform,...and does a Jim-Dandy Job of awakening the animals. :space:

After seeing the results of cut-up cats from Radiator Fan Blades at the Animal Rescue Shelter I volunteer at, I adopted this.
And invite others to do the same. :space:

What a cold, heartless uncaring thing to say.

You prove again the level of character you have shown us all you are.

Bet your neighbors love you.

I still say that any animal under the hood of a car is a pest and I don't care what happens to them. I have had cats, or some other animal, piss under the hood. Damn near impossible to get rid of the stink when the engine warms up.
