Lennon wrote the song to confound listeners and was partly inspired by two LSD trips
Also the song was banned by the BBCafter it release in 1967 for the use of the word "knickers"

As compared to songs of THESE times, they have almost no words, just a simple recycling of the same crap over and over again for 3 minutes or so and then it's done. Yuck, what a way to write a song.

The Beatles had words and Ideas. They told of stories and Magical Mysteries, Sargent's and peppers and Yellow Submarines while swimming around in an Octopuses Garden. Of course Rocky would show up now and again and his heart was probably broken by Lovely Rita getting killed off by Maxwell's Silver Hammer. While all these antics may have happened, Back in the USSR, they certainly made there way to Abby Road and for sure to say that a, Day in the Life, was sure to include a, Fool on the Hill, which obviously needed some, Help, because his girlfriend, Michell, ditched him for, guess who, Billy Shears.

The Beatles lives had to be completely amazing. To me, they are the ultimate musical Gods.
Long live all the Beatles have given us and beyond...
