Performed during LiveAid!
I will always remember where I was and what I was doing. Dad had an all-day yard work planned. This was before the internet and I didn't even know LiveAid was happening until I walked in the house and passed the TV where I saw the ads.
As soon as I heard what it was I popped in the VHS tape. I did the yard work and kept running inside to watch.
My focus was seeing U2, my favorite band at the time, and they didn't disappoint. (I'm betting that U2 stole the entire LiveAid with their performance!)
I remember Phil Collins playing both the US show, then jumping on a helicopter to make it to the Wembley Stadium show in the same day! (Look at Phil now...sad.)
