When I was a kid I used to eat a lot of this stuff. It's been discontinued, so I haven't had it in many years.
Found a recipe for it online and it's easy to make. 4 ingredients.
1/2lb Bucatini(sometimes spelled Bocatini) pasta. It's sometimes hard to find, but Barilla makes it.
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1 can of Campbells Cheddar Cheese soup, undiluted.
Boil the pasta, a little overcooked, not al dente. The original was very soft.
Mix the soup, milk and butter in a bowl.
Drain the pasta, return it to the pot, add the soup mixture, heat it on low for about 1-2 minutes and Viola!, a reasonable facsimile of the original.

Holy shit, I forgot about this thread. It looks so easy and sounds so good. Mental note to self: next time in food store, get cheddar soup

I finally tried this last night. I doubled all the ingredients to make a big 1lb pasta batch. I used a larger elbow macaroni. We really liked it. Just this and salad for dinner. We'll have the rest of it tonight with kielbasa.

When I was leading a Ride in BEE-U-TEE-FUL Wisconsin, we stopped at a Bar/ Restaurant for lunch.
They had on menu Mac-n-cheese with Pulled Pork and BBQ sauce.
