Re: Not a recipe ... but ....
Hey Tom,
I have a buddy in NY state that has an air fryer. He says you can cook anything with it.
Almost sounds too good to be true but I take his word for it. In fact, it was just last night we were talking about just that very subject indeed.
Bacon cooked in an air fryer. He said he was headed home and because I had inspired him, he was going to cook up a 1/2lb of bacon and gobble it down.
Hellofa dinner for sure!

Re: Not a recipe ... but ....
I've heard alot about the Air Fryer being the End-all-Be-all cooking unit. And ya know?.....In the past I recall similar Rave Reviews about toaster ovens and the George Foreman Grill. Cooking fads,....they come and they go.
About Bacon?....here's what I do using the Oven I already have;
How to Make Twisted Bacon
This technique couldn’t be easier. It’s honestly super simple. Take a single piece of bacon and twist it in an upwards motion so it resembles a straight line (not wrapped around itself like a piece of sushi). Then, take your pieces of bacon and line them up side-by-side on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Pop them in the oven for around 20 minutes at 350°. Then, when the timer goes off, flip the twists and bake for another 20 minutes …
For smaller quantities, I can do the same in a Toaster Oven. Gotta LOVE Bacon!!

What's the difference between an air fryer and a convection oven with a fan?
