Hello from Central Texas
New to the group, just purchased a 94 1400 foot $640. She had been sitting for several years. Pretty much going through everything right now. She wasn’t running when I got her and have since now gotten her to fire up and rough real rough. I have spent hours reading through all the threads. I have found so many helpful threads. Currently taking the carbs apart to clean more thoroughly and check the float heights. Did find the yellow wires under the seat burnt at the connector. Looking forward to getting in the road with her.

There's 3 things on these bikes that are critical.
Strong battery
Healthy Electrical system
Carburation
Please see the Tech Section for more info
As a tip, Knowing that you CAN uncork the Intruders, I personally HIGHLY recommend you don't undertake the task on your own.
In doing so, you open a whole can of worms that can very easily get crossed mixed with each other that you may never figure it out.
There is no simple way to uncork the VS line. The only simple part is the carbs are just not the right part to start with.
