Just signed up, was a member long ago before the other site vanished. Thinking of selling my 2000 1400. Was at dealer for 4 months to get carbs adjusted. After they went thru them several times and could not get it to run to adjust, I had them trailer it to my house. Guess what? Fuel at tank was turned off, lol. Now I cant seem to find anyone to adjust/sync them.....

You can do it (correctly) yourself. Lots of instructions in the tech section.

Im a helicopter mechanic........nothing metric, lol. What type of gauges?

Vacuum gages....or a long length of clear tubing filled with oil.

Just dropped bike off at small shop near me. He is a custom builder and said it sounds like the pilot system is messed up. Said the sync sounds close to him, weird that last shop went thru then several times....or did they really?
