Nother new guy
Just making my introductions. I recently inherited a 2001 VS 800 from a sister who passed away. The bike sat for 4 years and after a good cleaning and freshening has been a nice little ride. Still dealing with some issues however as the bike was 100% original down to the tires, (only had 2865 miles on it). I've freshened everything. tuned it up, new tires and a ton of elbow grease getting it shiny. Hoping I can get some insights into the workings of this bike as I'm finding getting "official" information nearly impossible, so it's been all trial and deduction.
