I had a 2002 Intruder at that time. I had over the years lost contact and due to a lot of fuel leaks and other mechanical issues I finally retired my Intruder. I now ride a 2021 Triumph Rocket 3R. I do miss my Intruder but, do enjoy my Triumph. I still have my leather vest with the Intruder Alert patch. My wife rides a Can-am Spider and is with a womens riding group.
I am limited on my riding as I have non-alchoholic liver cirrhosis and am in pt for a shoulder. I hope when I get a liver transplant to be riding a lot more.
I missed the group and hope to be able to catch up with people with whom I enjoyed riding.

Sorry you had to give up on your Intruder.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

I switched from Intruder to Triumph also.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
