G'day.
I'm Darren from Geelong, Australia. I have just picked up 1993 VS 1400 accident damaged with the intention of bobbing it. I have had several bobbers in the past (Volusia 800 and Vstar 1100). Hoping to pick up ideas here. Looking for a new tank, maybe springers for the front (has anyone done this?), solo seat and bobbed rear guard, etc. Any info or advice warmly received. Cheers Darren
This is a pic of my last bike - Vstar 1100.

Dayum! That's a tough lookin' V-Star. [space]
After owning Harleys and Hondas mostly, the 1100 V-Star was my older brother's (rest his soul) last bike. [space] [emoji106]

Thanks for the welcome.
The VStar was nearly my last ride too (first decent accident in 40 years of riding) - it was written off. The VS 1400 is the replacement bike I bought dirt cheap after it was involved in an accident. I will start a post on the VS 1400 project soon. Thanks for the forum, hopefully, I can contribute something back for others too.

Blessed with a great wife, 7 kids, an Aussie Bulldog and a VS 1400 (Joe).
