New to me 95 Intruder 1400 in Virginia with a branded title, it was cheap ($800) and worth it. It's in decent enough shape, but does need a lot of attention.
So far replaced the coils & new battery. It has decent spark on both cylinders, starts on starter fluid, assuming its the carb floats, prob has bad gas so need to drain the thing and clean it up. Hell find a tank and replace it. Either way, been reading a lot on here & lurking a bit, lost to learn about these bikes. Have had prob 20 something different ones, mostly Honda & Yamaha though. I will say Suzukis sure are picky about voltage!
I figure I'll go with a carb clean/rebuild + the K&N cone filter mod, I guess re jet since I'll probably need it with the filter mod.
Grab a set of Designer springs, the clutch feels squishy to me.
A set of 11.5" shortie shocks would be nice to drop that rear end down a bit.
Find a backrest somewhere.
Better seat!
New tires.
Anyway, happy to be here lets see how this thing turns out!
