Intruder in Maine

Hey intruders, new to the forum and wanted to say hello.
I have a 1990 Intruder 1400 in black. About 14k miles. Picked it up for $1000. No issues really other than a finicky start issue where I have to feather the clutch sometimes to get it to turn over. I guess it's the clutch safety switch according to the forum. Though I can't find a thread regarding how to disable it..?
Pics asap. It's currently in a hundred pieces cuz I'm doing a handlebar swap, front fork gators install and a front fork paint.
