Hi, new member

Post by Marauder03 »

Hello from Cleveland Ohio area, just picked up an intruder 1400vs 1993. I’ve been riding for years and just sold a V65 Magna and bought the intruder the same day. I’ve been lurking for a while and finall joined, seems like a very good forum. I’m glad to be on here, thanks.

Welcome  V65 to 1400. Had a 1400 a while and ran against V65 Hondas at the drag strip on my 1983 GS1100ES. The V-max and V65 I beat on the strip but on open high way both had more top end. The shaft hurt them on hole shots at drag strips. That is a big down size in brute power but 1400 just so much slow thump'in kind of fun. They feel fast but are not. Its the fun thats good and that motor is so good looking with the tall jugs. Post often and pics are nice.

I had a Vmax for 12 years and had to sell it for financial reasons, I then found a g65 Magna that wasn’t running and with a little work got that going. Both are what I would consider fast, I sold the Magna and bought the intruder in the same day. I figured I.D cruise for a while, I rarely used the power the v4s had and always liked the intruder so I jumped on it. Basically paid 400$ for Magna and put a few bucks into it so when I sold it for same price I paid for the intruder I was very happy. I’m still trying to figure out how to post pics so as soon as I can I’ll post some.
