Hello from NC.

Thanks for adding me!
I just bought a 2002 VS800. It has just under 35k on it. I have a few little things to do to it. Front tire, fork seals, replace missing screws/bolts on the brake res, rear cylinder cover, and highway bars. Eventually I will replace the torn seat covers and grips. Mechanical stuff first. Bike runs great!

I'm in the Carthage area. I'm 30 minutes north of Ft. Bragg.

I know Carthage. I spent 22 1/2 years in the Air Force, several of those years were while stationed at Fort Bragg (Simmons Army Field) and Pope AFB. I used to run NC22/24 over to US220 traveling back and forth to Greensboro to visit relatives when I'd get tired of the scenery of the shorter and faster US421 N route through Sanford. Sometimes I'd run a little back road across the back side of Bragg (looking at a map, maybe that was 690) through Vass and up to Cameron, then east. Some pretty nice riding roads in the Carthage area as I recall. Loved checking out those small little hamlets.

That's when motorcycles are so nice. Go another way if time,go and come back another way. Even mix that up as see things from the other side next time. Like another trip [emoji106] :putput: .
