I have to ask a question about the raked trees. Are they the 6 degree rake trees? If so how would they effect the front end height of the stock forks were used. I know it will lower the front but I'm curious to know how much. Bikercom sells the 4" extension slugs so I'm just wondering if the front would be lowered that much or not. As an example I lowered the rear 1" with progressives so I'm just curious to know if the raked trees would level the bike out or is it enough rake to make the front lower than the back if stock fork tubes are used?
Also curious to know if hoses for the 800 and 1400 are interchangeable? Lengths are probably different but are the ends the same?
One thing I am curious about because I may buy it is the Pyle sound system. Everything works good and it just plugs into a headphone jack?

I'm pretty confident the heat shields go with the Jardine Pipes. The one with the tight curve goes on the left/Top pipe right next to the head. It keeps you from frying your left knee cap while riding. This is the shield the date stamp is on. The one that is in front of the hooked shield goes on the right pipe next to the head.
Seeing how I just installed a set, I'm 99% certain they are for those pipes.

Hows the condition of the kickstand? Willing to sell it separately? {Never mind I see its for an 800 & I own a 1400}

Got any more picts of the drive shaft cover?

How do the speakers work? Do they plug in with an AUX cable or something? :Umm:

I'm unsure; to what extent the raked trees would affect the height of front end using the stock forks.. but will try to do some research and see if I can get an answer for you on that.
I have some vs1400 calipers too so I will check and see if the fittings are the same or different and get back to on you that also.

Sounds good but don't kill yourself looking for info regarding the trees I'm just curious to know. I do want to know if the hoses will interchange though. Thanks.

My stepson is interested in amp, he uses his iPhone, so that's why I was asking about inputs.

You are correct on the 2 heat shields with bends brother. I only posted them separately in case someone had Jardine Drags already but shields were needing replacement.
I'm not sure if the kickstands are any different (800 and 1400) but will take a look and let you know.

Pics above with ports. Seems it can use rca jacks or headphone type jack.

Okay, well the hose screws into the front caliper just fine so it seems it's good for you if you want it.

It hose was just curiosity, I don't need it at this time. The Pyle system was my only purchasing interest but I'm not sure where I'd mount the amp. If someone is interested in it let them have it, don't wait for me. I want a speaker system but not sure where I'm going to mount the amp.

I'd suggest sitting on bike and looking for a nice reachable location. Maybe bolted to left neck cover? Or figure a way to attach to bars if you don't mind it up in front of you like that. Maybe even bolted to left side panel below seat? lol. Think wires might be long enough.

Bronx...... Does the speaker/amp setup have the power cord?
I looked it up on line... It looks like it should have another piece... A remote box as well.

Will the front brake rotor fit a '95 1400 with wire spoke wheels? If so, I'd like to know what it measures in thickness.

Mine is a 6 bolt pattern, not sure how many options there were.

Rotor measures 5.5mm and will fit your vs1400 brother.

Thanks for getting the measurement, is it possible this is actually a rear rotor?

I'm looking at the service info (p. 8-36) and it says the Front rotor is 5mm, with a limit of 4.5. And the rear is 6mm, with a limit of 5.5.
