4 gallon fuel tank for intruder 1400! Sold

Tank needs bondo and paint. It has been widened and fiberglassed. I put a new Honda CBR gas cap on it! No more rattles! It has been painted only after rough fiberglassed. Asking $350. ( I have that much in it.) Inbox me for pictures.

I believe the 1400 and 800 caps are the same, do you know? If so I'd like to see what the cap looks like on it.

Caps are the same for the VS800/S50 & VS1400/S83; The Honda cap is totally different

If he has it on the Suzuki tank it must fit so I'm curious to know what it looks like.

Not if he modified the filler hole.

I've seen guys remove the filler neck and replace it with an all in one aircraft style.

I figure the tank had to be cut and a new "cap" graphed in but I wanted to be sure it wasn't an actual cap replacing the OEM cap. Cbr's have the typical hinged flip up cap (mine did at least) but I wanted to be sure. The OP hasn't replied so I guess we will never know for sure.

Sorry guys was out of the loop for a bit. I absolutely despised the Suzuki locking cap, I bought several and over time they always started rattling. I tried everything, but the final cure was a rag under the cap tucked nicely so nobody ever noticed. When I built this tank I had a buddy who had a CBR 350 tank he didn't want so I had that welded in. I bought a new chrome cap for it and wallah! It will not rattle. I haven't had any one ask to buy it yet, so I will finish it soon and put it on the bike i am selling.
