number the messages

How about numbering the messages? Then someone could refer to a message in the current thread or even another thread by number. Also, if someone wanted to log out and come back later, he could jot down the msg. number he left off at.

I don't know if there's a setting that allows numbered posts. If there is, I don't recall ever seeing it. I will have a lookie see however.
