I keep seeing posts that mentions designer's clutch springs. But I have yet to see where or how you can buy them.. Im not having any clutch issues just yet, but ya know, would like to know where/how to get them based on all the hype im seeing for them. And any suggestions on plates as well?
If its posted somewhere on here, I'm sorry. But like I said, I havent seen anything yet and I've searched through several categories on here.

Re: Designer clutch springs?
The 1400 has inherently weak clutch springs.
Designer springs have been used successfully by many.
You likely do not need new clutch discs, they should last 100,000 miles.
If your clutch starts slipping, Designer springs should cure your ills.

And,..good news! According to our Resident Clutch Longevity Expert,... (the one, the only----Herb) [emoji2]....the Discs are good for well over 160,000 miles.
He has a Personal Experience Story that is rather convincing.
