Jardine forward controls
Lowered seat on my 98 vs1400, wondering if anyone has heard of any Jardine forward controls available. Need a little more room now. Looked everywhere and can’t find any anymore.

Re: Jardine forward controls
Jardine ceased production several years ago.
Occasionally they show up used...but at a price.
Here is an option:

Re: Jardine forward controls
There’s a set on ebay for sale. But they have some pretty bad road rash. Don’t trust that they aren’t tweaked. Otherwise someone with the time and money might be able to get them right. I’m not into that, to much trouble for me. If a set shows up anywhere that you come across, please give me a shout. I really think I would prefer a set. I have a couple of sets of forwards that I have bought, but I just don’t care for the way they look. Willing to make a trade with somebody if possible. Or outright purchase.

Re: Jardine forward controls
There is a guy on the facebook intruder pages that has a set for sale. $200 I believe is what he was asking. I will try to find it and somehow link you to it.navigator wrote: ↑Fri Apr 16, 2021 8:03 amJardine ceased production several years ago.

Have been looking on fb but can’t spot specific post. Was it in market or a group?

Try refined cycles. Had them on my 98 1400 and loved them. They sit lower than jardine and I think a bit more forward. Plus they cost less new.
I am 6'1" and they were comfortable.
They only take about 2 hours to install if you take beer breaks every 20 minutes.

If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
