How about a pic with the luggage on? I and, probably, a lot of others would like to know how the luggage looks on it.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

Nice!
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.

Could you be sure to take a Pic of the mounted bags from the Right Rear Corner looking forwards across the seat?

I had trouble getting a leg over the darn thing LOL, dang they sit pretty high even for this 5' 11" Cajun.

Did your bike have the function that lowered the bike 2 Inches?

I had a friend who bought one when they first came out, he was 6' 3" and had no problem getting in the saddle.
He loved it and rode it on several 200+ mile trips we took as a group.

My buddy Jim Green taught me how to do it with ease, and he’s a pretty tall guy. All ya do is step up on the left footpeg and swing your leg over. I’ve been mounting up on my Triumph Tiger using this method for 6 years now!

Mike, nice bike. Welcome to the ADV family!

Yes, it has the auto ride height...lowers itself when needed and seems to know when it needs to be raised. Makes it easier to get on. I alsu use the left peg and then swing my foot over...as Keith stated. When I am at a stop I can MOSTLY flat foot.

Congratulations on the new ride MC :ShitGrinandThumb: .
I still have my GS and I do like getting it dirty, so lots of fire trails and single track riding. Once you wear out those stock tires slap on a set of mitas E-07 tires. They last forever and they grip great on and off-road. The nice thing is that the design doesn't feel like you're riding on a 50/50 tire.

What luggage did you go with? I wish I had known you were going to get this because I have a spare set of aluminum panniers I could have given you.

Anyhow congrats again and enjoy but remember the 3 months rule. Get to know how she handles every scenario and be extra careful.

Those are the tires I am going with next year...I bought the Harley Sport set. And yes, I have been riding it a lot but taking it real easy...it's new and handles differently than any other bike I have had. I keep the ride mode in "rain/wet road" ....havn't used Sport or Offroad. I love how when I come to a stop the bike lowers itself.

MC glad you are enjoying it. Now put the dang thing in normal ride mode, the abs and traction control works fine  . I think that you are probably going to find yourself wondering why it took you until now to pick up a bike that will go anywhere.
Anyhow stay safe, enjoy, and perhaps we can get together for a ride sometime in the spring :ShitGrinandThumb:
