The core members here are pretty old. They've been riding for years so banter about bikes is kinda played out for them - hence the high volume of off topic / political nonsense threads.

15-20 years ago, the purple board was quite active. There were many rallys to meet and ride with other folks. I attended a slew of them and rode with many members. Nobody seems to ride any more, but I get out every day...not in the winter.
