I'll be going over to my dad's house where everyone will meet to exchange gift's and have a Christmas meal together. Always way too much food even though we coordinate about who will bring whatever.
Now we draw names each year at Thanksgiving dinner as to whom each person will bring a gift for. We used to each bring gifts for everyone but everyone is now in their adult year's of age, so bringing a gift for one simplified the gifting. We still have a couple young one's so if course they get a gift from everyone.
So that's the jist of my Christmas plans, and of course flintlock winter hunting begins the day after Christmas so I'll be off to the woods and hopefully able to walk after my surgery next week
. My father is now in his mid 80's and doing okay but it's best to cherish every bit of time with your parents that everyone has. Nothing seems worse than wishing you had visited or said something to a loved one that you look back with regret.
