Some bike pics

Post by MattSunn »

Since I'm probably gonna be putting these away for the winter real soon I thought I'd post these.

I think if you click on the pic it'll take you to postimage and if you click on the pic there, it will make it very large. :dunno:

It'd be nice to see other bikes before they go into hibernation. :ShitGrinandThumb:

Thanks Tom. The red one is a Kaw. 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan S. The white one and the green one are the same bike, just different years and I have them set up just a little differently.

Still runs and looks good for an almost 15yo bike. Still bone stock. :ShitGrinandThumb:

Your 15 year old Sporty sure looks spiffy for being that old a model... How many miles do you have on the babe?

It's kinda funny how a 15 year old bike can be deemed "old"

I've got a couple of 30 year old bikes in the shed at the moment and I don't really even see them as old.

I've owned it for a few years, but not all 15. I can't remember what year I bought it, but Mike probably remembers. I think it only had about 900 miles on it when I bought it. I think Madcow had his Vrod Muscle at the time. I put about 1000 miles on it and then traded it along with another frame mount Sportster I had for a 2017 Kawasaki Z900. Just got a bug for a fast bike. Well, the Z900 is now in my top 3 worst bikes I've ever owned. Big mistake doing that deal. Got rid of the Z900, that bike just sucked. Anyway, several years later I see a Sportster in a local ad on CL that looks just like this one. Turns out is is this one! I go see it, guy bought it for his wife, she rode it all of 300 miles, decided it wasn't for her and they stored it in a shed. I bought it with 2200 miles on it and it's been in my garage ever since. :ShitGrinandThumb:

Yeah I've heard some horror stories about those replica z900's - rear frames cracking at the shock mount was one I recall.

Not many people raved about them....
