Post your best shot...

Post by JFL Live »

Picture that is, of your bike or road trip or anything. This picture has always been one of my favorites. We were on our way to Fallen Nevada on Route 50 (The loneliest road in American) in 2011. It was late and we were behind schedule with a couple more hours to go when we had to stop and suit up for the rain. The one car that drove by was a lady all by herself but she stopped and asked if we were ok. Fortunately we didn't get rained on that night and arrived just in time to find the last remaining restaurant that was still open!

Not my best. But good times my dad and little brother on his bike. My soon to be at the time, now wifey and myself on a week long camping trip to Itasca the birth place of the mighty Mississippi river.

I know it is an old thread and how I missed it when it was first posted is beyond me, but it needs to be updated with a couple of my pics taken on the same trip. The trip was suppose to take me to the Harbor at Duluth so I could see the big ships, but I didn't make it that far. I only made it to Marseilles, Il and the Middle East War memorial where I got to see the name of the guy on my KIA bracelet. Anyway, below are a couple of pics from that trip. You'll notice the first one (with the pink elephant) from a thread PCC made. The second pic is of a tug on the Illinois river that I waited over 5 minutes to take from the bridge that goes to town from the state park I spent the night at.

I think PCC did also. That was the worst and best trip so far. The best part was when it wasn't raining and the worst part was when it was raining. :bonk: Okay, next to the worst. The trip back from NC with the teardrop had to be the worst. All that tail wagging had me driving 55 mph on I-40 and going up those mountains with the trailer had to slow me down to below the speed limit. I never did get honked at by anybody which surprised me.

It could have been. I was going kind of slow to be on 40. When I stopped for gas at some little store about half way thru Tn I asked the girl working there how far it was to the next 2 lane road headed back towards Okla and she said 2 miles so I took it instead of 40. Drove all the way back to Okla on the 2 lane blacktop... that is where the name came from.

If you look closely at that cloud, and squint your eyes a bit, you will see the Suzuki logo lying sorta flat with one eye on a harley.

That is a golf cart with knobbies. They make way faster ones.

I just always wonder why people pick one model over another in the same category.

Eventually I want one for Uncle Phil's farm. It would be my ultimate fishing cart. Good chance I'll be hauling firewood and other stuff too, so I'm leaning towards the utility vs sporty.

Has she sat on a 2up ATV with the backrest ? I can't fit a side by side in my woods. The wife wants a side by side with heat and a plow. I rather have a 4x4 tractor.
