Craigslist finds

Post by wj_hurd »

So doing my typical web surfing between tech calls, I stumbled upon these....

http://syracuse.craigslist.org/mpo/4592112084.html

This a good purchase? Looks like its missing parts, or do they use the factory bolts and linkages?

Think the powder coat black would look OK with existing Chrome. Or could they be stripped and polished?

I know these are not cheap, I would see about coming up with the cash for them if they are worth it...

Any thoughts? :?:

Didn't someone on the purple site (IA the other board) makes those type of forwards? There were a couple of threads showing how to make your own. :uhh:

While I'm on the topic of parts finds...
I'm looking for the Suzuki S symbol that goes on the back rest of the sissy bar.

Anyone got a spare or seen on of the E-bay?

I have looked and found ZIP.

Mine is obviously missing... I think it looks kinda sharp on there! :rag:

Those are Jardines. New they are $700. They fit one or the other, not both. Probably missing some hardware. Part number would tell you which Intruder they fit.

I do a lot of highway traveling and need something to make my ride better more comfortable. Sitting with the feet underneath me gets old after awhile. I have also noticed that I get leg cramps if I'm on the bike for hours at a time. :bang: I need to get off my butt and do something to my foot rests this winter. :uhh:

Its my bike's twin!
http://syracuse.craigslist.org/mcy/4698433646.html

A little pricey.. but nicely equipped and very low miles.

I can't see him getting $3,000 end of season, maybe $2,400 if he is lucky.

Love the colors! :naughty:

That guy is smokin the crack. Upgraded to a Harley is a sure sign of an abuser!
Downgraded to a harley the miles on that bike prove they are a NRAMFR
