OOoooo, that looks like the National Cycles windshield on that trike... The lowers are already build in too, so buffeting is almost non existent.

Yo-
Those are nice windshields. I looked them up after reading your post. They have one with built in hand deflectors, & then the one pictured on the trike has the built in hand deflectors & lowers. You're right Yo, the clear doesn't detract from the cool look of our 1400's.

I like the clear.

I've got the smoke tinted lower on my memphis fats. Never thought about how it takes away from the look until I saw the all clear tonight. I've seen clear before, just never entered my pea brain before. Thanks! :lmao:

Yeah, I know. Smoke looked cool to me at the time. It's good, it works. When I need to replace, I'll get clear. I'm just filing that in my head for now. I'm not going to take off a perfectly good windshield to buy another. I'll wait till I have to replace the one I have.

I know, I'm cheap! :lmao:

Let me know when you do. I might be interested. A few items on my want list this winter, but budget allowing, a clear windshield could be added to the want list. In fact, I think I'll start a want list thread.

Thanks for telling me.

Some folks are posting more than one mod on here, so my 2nd favorite mod on my bike are the kury iso footpegs mounted to my engine guard. What a difference to be able to stretch out & move my feet around on long rides.

Third best mod is a simple one, my throttle boss. Some folks prefer the cruise, I've got both the cruise & throttle boss mounted, & I use the boss much more, even on trips. JMHO

PCC, if I had a cup holder, I'm sure that would be at the top of my list too! :lmao:

Ahhhhhh. Oh well, I'll just wait till I need to replace mine then & look into getting clear. But still let me know what you want for it when you do decide to sell. If it's cheap, I might buy instead of spending a bunch more for a clear.

After all, I'm cheap! :lmao:

You think that trike is cheap? That thing has a rear end that cost over $4000 and you have to furnish the bike. That's more for the rear end than I paid for my whole bike. :bonk:

You're missing the whole point. There are no vs800 trikes that are affordable in the U.S. At one time Lehman made a trike kit for the vs800. As a matter of fact it was one of the first trikes they made. Once his wife quit riding her 800 he quit making the kit for the 800, but they still make a kit for the C50 called The Tramp. They make one kit for a Suzuki bike. :bang: Hell I even sent an email to Lehman asking why they didn't make a kit for the 800 especially with all the people wanting a kit for the 800. I got nothing back.

PCC, thanks for the link. That appears to be 1/2 what the other kits cost and does the same thing. At one time I was thinking of getting a VW trike and even came up $1000 short of $10,000 needed to buy a brand new one a guy had just built. I guess I should have tried harder to get him to sell it, but I didn't. Anyway, this is an option if I can't get the true trike kit for the 800. I know they are out there I see them pop up on ebay now and then, but I don't seem to have the money at the time. This is just a mod that will have to wait for another time.
