Camera batteries

Post by BlacktopTravelr »

I want to take more pics while I am out riding but my camera batteries don't last long. I've asked this before on the purple board and got a few good replies so I thought maybe I should ask again over here to see if I get any different answers. JFL Live is probably tired of me asking this question. I have a Vivitar Vivicam 5386. So I was wondering what batteries do you use in your cameras? I do know I have to buy new batteries and that I will need to buy two sets and use one set as a backup.

Any that aren't alkaline. Alkaline batteries don't last long in cameras. Rechargeable or lithium.

Never... :big grin:

I used to use the Nikon Coolpix camera's that took AA batteries. And I would get a 36 pack of AA's at COSTCO or SAM's Club. I think I could get about 200 pics out of one pair of AAs. But I finally got tired of buying batteries and switched to cameras that have a rechargeable. Then I bought a couple spares on amazon and keep one handy in case I run out of juice I the middle of a photo shoot...
