Be safe and stay away from the southern east coast! Unless ya got some waders!! [emoji2]
There will be a time where you will no longer be able to use, "But...I didn't know!", as an excuse. And if you're exiled from society, well, you were warned.

I finally got around to downloading and editing some pictures taken. Being a fan of the countryside, and the Big Sky above it, I took these.
What a Spectacular sky it was! (the Roads weren't too bad either [emoji2] ) Hope you all enjoy a virtual trip with me.
From the Straights and Curves with a Panoramic View:
To the smaller, less-traveled backroads of Pasture Land and Tree Tunnels:

WellAlrightyThen! [emoji2]
While Riding, I comes across many sights. One is the vanishing Family Farm. So I have taken to taking pictures of Old Barns. Some of these where built around 1860 (the ones with masonry Foundations)
I am finding more of these. Foundations where a Fine Barn once stood. Sadly.... gone forever. It even had a Masonry Silo!
Now this,...this is a RARE find! An original Split-log Home,...with the Chinking still between the logs! [emoji106]

Re: GONNA BE GONE ALL ALBOR DAY WEEKEND
They were great. [emoji106] Think the old stone and wood barns make the best looking homes. I like the simple shaker stuff inside. The largest shaker village of the two in Kentucky is in my Mercer county. If ever on the nice motorcycle road 68 in Kentucky take it from Lexington through the so nice cruves down to the Ky. river and back up to shaker town about five miles before Haroodsburg. All so some real nice Horse farms. Some on the old board posted pics when they came and we rode.

I have seen some conversions and they usually turn out nice. And I am told that they did take ALOT of Time and money to make them comfortable year. 'round.old time rider wrote:They were great. I'm hoping more will happen as these Structures are SO cool!
Along with Family Farms, I stop to snap Pictures of other sights,...ones that are unusual to what I see in my life.
Going along Roads like this:
I happened upon,....guess what!,.....Chickens Crossing the Road! [emoji2] (Well,...Roosters in this picture)
And other livestock too:
Other unusual scenes were an old fashioned Public Fountain at a Street Corner:
A Prominent Rock Out-cropping:
And a Giant Pheasant!
What else next to that but,....some Giant Electric Guitars:
Wow huh!

Thanks they were great. On the way back from Colorado at night last Aug. wish we had stopped and took pics of the huge power windmills so close to the road at the Kansas/Colorado line. They look like something huge from outer space then .Then some take on a odd lighting rotaion ? Guess the ones working do it to warn aircraft?

Thanks for the pics. [emoji106] Some of that road looks like Rt. 66 that I take when I go to the round barn in Arcadia, Ok.

Re: GONNA BE GONE ALL ALBOR DAY WEEKEND
I'l have to look an see. I'm not sure I have a lot of pics of the road, but if I can get the camera working or figure out how my new phone camera works I'll take some the next time I am out that way. I might, might I say, have some on a flash drive I put in one of the boxes when I left Wewoka.
