We'll hold the fort down for you John....

I wanna hear more about the bees and how the new puppy is getting along with it's new digs. [emoji106]

I see the fort is still here and alive. Thanks Johnny. [emoji106]

Saw another bee, but this one got away before I could find the fly (bee) swatter. :bang: The puppy is a royal PITA as she still chews up everything she can, especially if I leave her alone for over 5 minutes. I can't wait for the first real snow storm to come throught (actually I can but) so I can throw her into the snow and watch her try to get back into the house with her short little legs. That'll teach her to chew my stuff up. :lolfall:

I bought my time card on the first and just now got back online. I had to call the help line to get it straightened out. I'll start a new thread telling all about it.

I'm seeing a few humming birds in the back yard lately.....two different colors... and they are giving my bird feeder a real going over....
It holds about a half pint of red colored sugar water and they are going through it about every 5 days....it has to be more than just two of them [emoji106]

Johnny, if those are the hummers that go south for the winter you should have put your feeder up at the end of Sept so they won't die during the winter either because they stay here in the states or because of the cold on the way south. It's probably too late to worry about them now anyway. :bang:

I'm not sure where they winter, but I do know they say to take down your feeders by the end of Sept. or the hummers will stay around and then get a late start to their migration south and possible die.
