Automotive quiz

I didn't do as well as I thought I would. Some of the things I have learned, over the years, were not correct, some I didn't know.

16 our of 30. About 4 of the misses were brain farts.

Test your knowledge.
I can't seem to win the lottery. I think I have used up all of my good luck riding motorcycles.

I did not do well .Only 19 of 30. The elc. car stuff was my big down fall. Usually do good on the I-D stuff were they show a tail light etc. and guess the year. Most the first year for so in so do ok. 28 first year for Ply.,1914 first year for Dodge,1939 Merc,03 Ford, etc. Guess Olsmobile was oldest when if went away a few years ago.Was 1917 or 1918 first chevy V-8? Know most will think 1955. The one in the teens looked so much like the 55 265.It was only in a tour car model I think and was abound ten times more $$$ than the chevy four in about all the other chevys. The only one I ever saw was in a museum in Reno in 1982. Did see one last week on the internet a guy was going to race in the long old car race.It was a 1918 and so low mile.Think they may have had it two years?

21 out of 30. That was a tough one.

Paul, the Chevy V8 "D" model is considered a 1918 car even though they made and sold a lot of them in 1917. It came in 2 styles, a 4 passenger roadster and a touring car. 1918 was the only year manufactured.

17 out of 30
If you have any type of electrical issue, have your battery load tested before you do anything else. Any auto parts store will test it for free.
