Where have you been??
It is a long story as to where I have been, so to make it short.... my laptop crashed before I could buy the disc to make a backup and I lost all my passwords. None of the passwords I could remember would work so IsA wouldn't sign me in. I finally got Yo to make me a new PW and here I am. Back to make your days and nights more enjoyable.
While I have you here I can tell you a short story about Santa showing up over the weekend. But before I do I wanted to tell you I received a letter in the mail addressed to "Mighty John Gray" and with my name and address as the return address. It seems I somehow sent myself a letter. At least that is what it looked like until I opened it to see what was sent and I found a blank piece of paper with a money order in it. The money order was sent by Santa. So yes Virginia there is a Santa. When I went to put it in the bank the lady asked me if I knew who sent it and I answered yes. It was sent by Santa it says so right on the money order. She wasn't going to take it till I told her I knew who actually sent it. Apparently she doesn't believe in Santa. Anyway, now I can buy a new generator I might even buy a bigger one.

Re: Where have you been??
I'll start another thread on the generator as people don't seem to read this one much. I guess they don't care if I have been gone or not. [space]Suzuki Johnny wrote:I'm hoping we have the same Santa [emoji106]

Re: Where have you been??
[emoji2] The only 'generator' story I have is this...
A buddy of mine's father was part of a small group of older guys who owned a fishing lodge on the Miramichi, up here in New Brunswick. Right on the river, pretty far back in the woods. We used to spend weekends up there once in a while. Salmon fishing. The lodge was heated and lit by gas (was it propane? I ain't sure... probably propane?) Anyway, there were these little gas lines all over the place. The stove, the overhead lights, even the refrigerator was gas...
But they built a fairly large shed out back, which housed a generator, which they wired to one electrical outlet, in the kitchen. For the toaster. Yes, they went through all that effort and expense so they could have toast in the morning. I can understand it though... I also love toast. [emoji106]

I like toast with Apple butter....and cow butter too. And yes, we noticed you were out....we figured your internet card had dried up and you hadn't been to town to get a new one.

Re: Where have you been??
Hey John I didn't notice you had been gone but then we've been gone off on on for the last month or so taking care of family matters in OKC. In fact we will be back up this Tuesday for a quick trip but not sure how long or how often until we hear from our lawyer. Merry Christmas to you.
