otr, it is cold in here as I haven't got the insulation yet. So all I have between me and the cold outside temps is the thin ply the sides are made of. I do have a propane heater that keeps it above freezing in here. It would be a whole lot warmer in here except the heater uses the 20 # bottles and if I turn it up to high they only last 24 hrs. :bang: So I leave it on low and get over 62 hrs a bottle.

If the pics have disappeared what is showing up in their place? If you're not using a pic hosting site and just hot linking, linking straight to the pics, the site the pics are on may be blocking the hot link.

This board is great and the moderators do a fantastic job. Just sorry that those that didn't come over didn't take the time to find out the truth for themselves. Just because you read something on the internet doesn't mean it's true.

Tommy, I don't do FB but am glad to hear Hack is about and kicking. Would love to hear from him! :HatTip:

Last I heard he never rode it but stuck it away in storage. I hope my old pard is otherwise doing well.

Surprised me too. Quite some time ago had a brief back and forth with Damumz in which we wondered if Hack was still around. Damn.

 The way I recall it... We all knew how excited he was to finally get the thing, after waiting so long. He even posted a short video of the demo ride. Well, just about the same time as it came in, he went silent. For months. We all wondered about him, and someone (I think) tracked him down. Seems he had been on quite the bender ever since buying the Scout, and didn't remember that he had it. He had ridden it to a buddy's place after leaving the dealership and left it there... Literally months went by with him not realizing he had this great new bike sitting over at his buddy's place.

[emoji2] I just went back over there and did a search for his post. Yeah, you can still search through the old database over there, but it's a bit clunky. The results showed no posts from hack between late April and mid July...

Screen capped these coupla posts...

I'm not here often but I do stop by from time to time to see what's new. Don't have as much "online" time as I used to so it gets spread out a bit.

I am still working on transforming my 06 into the perfect (to me & my lady) motorcycle
